Session 1: Media Engagement (New York City)
New York program highlights included media training and practice sessions, cultural experiences to better understand the food culture, consumers connection in the city and the advocacy lifecycle.
Session 2: Advocacy Engagement (Gettysburg and Washington DC)

Chicago focused on our ability to build collaborative relationships with industry partners and others in the food system. We met with students at a culinary institute, practices town hall scenarios and discussed how to cultivate relationships with stakeholders who have similar and potentially differing views.
Session 4: International Experience (South Africa)
PAL Class 12 traveled to South Africa in September of 2026. An important focus of the trip was learning about agricultural labor from another perspective. The class visited farms and experienced the natural beauty of South Africa.
